PLH & Associates Ltd. is an event management company based out of the Greater Toronto Area that specializes in developing and producing fundraising events that have cumulatively raised over $100,000,000.00 for various Canadian charities since 1988.

Peter Hart
Principal & President

Peter is the Founding Principal and President of PLH & Associates Ltd. He has an extensive business and event management background spanning back to the mid-80’s when he began developing and producing special events as part of a national outdoor advertising company that he co-owned which operated in over 60 ski resorts across Canada. 

Working with major brands like Pepsi, General Motors, Molson’s Breweries, Canadian Tire, Manulife Financial and many more, at its’ peak his event management firm was producing over 400 events per year in Canada and the United States. Since PLH & Associates Ltd. was founded in 1992 it has developed and/or produced several highly successful event property’s across Canada, with representing a 33 year working relationship with Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Peter is extremely proud of the PLH team who have collectively worked tirelessly on behalf of PLH’s charitable clients to raise over $100,000,000 for a wide variety of Canadian organizations including Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Sick Children’s Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Lung Association, Greenbelt Foundation, Prospect Human Services, Canada Company and Canadian Armed Forces Morale and Welfare Services, to name a few. Peter’s focus is now almost exclusively on the charitable sector, as that is where his passion lies and where he feels PLH & Associates Ltd. can continue to make the greatest contribution.

Dawn Reist
Vice-President Operations

While Dawn has multiple years of experience in various management roles, she has carved a creative path and forged her way into the event planning field where she finds the opportunity for new ideas to be endless. Over her 30 years in the industry, she has worn many hats as business owner, manager, supervisor and staff developer.  

In her role as Vice-President Operations for PLH & Associates Ltd., she leads a team of experienced event professionals that produces some of the largest fundraising events in Canada. Her commitment to excellence is absolute, and she is constantly working to improve her craft and inspire her teams!

Sean Roper

Sean is one of the top event planners in Canada with over 15 years of hands-on experience with all manner of events. In addition to managing operational elements for the Ride For Heart, Sean is the Principal of Storm Racing which has produced over 40 multi-sport racing events across Ontario. He is heavily involved in extreme adventure racing, competing in several national and international races each year.

Phillip Reist

Phillip joined the PLH team six years ago and continues to be a key element of our largest event, . He specializes in AV, materials procurement and volunteer recruitment, the latter representing over 600 persons per year! In his spare time he is an occasional Big Bike Driver, as well as providing operational support for other PLH & Associates Ltd. events.

Brian Kelley
National Fleet Manager Big Bike

Brian has been a key part of the Big Bike team since the 90’s when the program was founded, first as one of the top Big Bike Drivers in the country then moving into an operations role as National Big Bike Fleet Manager. Brian manages the PLH & Associates office/warehouses in Fort Erie.

Bernie Perry
Western Fleet Manager Big Bike

Bernie has been a Big Bike Driver since 2015, bringing his special brand of Big Bike entertainment to every province in Canada while consistently working the longest tours each season! In the off season he is Western Big Bike Fleet Manager, looking after the vehicles used for western Canada and managing the Alberta PLH office/warehouse.
